Horse Art Contest - Design MARE Center Holiday Card

Extension's MARE Center in Middleburg is having an art contest for 4-H youth to design their 2008 holiday cards. If you can draw a horse, horse scene, or other horse-related picture, this is a great way for you to get exposure to hundreds of horse industry supporters. There is no money involved, but your image will be mass-produced and distributed. Contact or call 672-1361 for contest rules and entry info.

Buy a Clover at Orange-Madison Co-op; Support 4-H!

Local Southern States dealer, Orange-Madison Co-op, is selling paper clovers for just $1 each. Proceeds benefit the National 4-H Council and local 4-H programs. These clovers are similar to other charities' fund drives at retail stores. Customers buy a clover for $1, write their name on the clover, and then Co-op employees will post the clovers on the walls and windows as advertisement of your support.

National 4-H Week is next week; so visit the Co-op today and help support this generous fundraiser!
